Open Web

MOW’s Mission: Opening the web for Everyone

The web was designed to be an open and free forum, facilitating permissionless innovation. Increasingly, gatekeeper platforms have sought to splinter the web into profitable walled gardens. MOW exists to counter this harmful trend.

The world wide web is used by more than five billion people. It is too important to be governed by a handful of unregulated standards bodies and Big Tech companies.

The below graphic shows the problems MOW identifies, our goals, and how we are achieving them. To become a member, or request more information on what we do, please email [email protected].
