Transcript: At Movement for an Open Web, we’re really concerned about the growth of AI. Two problems. One, the content rights holders are not being recompensed for their work that’s used to train these AI models. Therefore, the derivative works that are actually being used to compete with them are hurting them in two ways. They weren’t being recompensed for the original material and then the derivative work is competing with them. The second problem is the big tech platforms are using their dominance in other products like enterprise software or consumer electronics to bundle their particular flavour of AI. We want to see interoperability, so that it’s possible to bring different AIs to different products, not the one that the vendor has chosen. To find out more, have a look at the MOW website and then contact us for a meeting.
